WHO IS PROMOTING THE RESEARCH?

Located on the Unicamp campus, it allows students and researchers to work together with companies and generate knowledge applied to emerging technology practices in various segments. This talent network works as a catalyst for new ideas and businesses, creating an important link between the academic environment and the market. The indicators illustrate its potential for attracting investment and creating jobs. More than 40 companies were established and more than R$38 million were generated in R&D agreements, in addition to R$120 million in investments and development programs.

The International Hub for Sustainable Development (HIDS), made official in 2020, is conceived as a knowledge free zone in which major initiatives linked to emerging themes will be developed. The synergies arising from the interaction between players located in the area designated for HIDS are strategic for the creation of new competitive advantages and transformative actions in technological and innovation capabilities not only in the surroundings of Unicamp, but in the Campinas region.
