Case: Territorial intelligence applied to solutions for smart cities.
A medium-sized municipality faced the challenge of structuring public policies capable of stimulating economic development, strengthening local entrepreneurship, and creating a more innovative and sustainable urban environment. Before the implementation of the incubator, the city lacked an in-depth understanding of its economic potential, territorial vocations, and capacity to attract and develop new businesses.
Linkages conducted a comprehensive territorial intelligence study to identify the city's potential, analyzing socioeconomic indicators, productive profile, urban infrastructure, local market dynamics, and development opportunities. Based on this diagnosis, the company worked on structuring the business incubator, including consulting on the drafting of municipal legislation that institutionalized the program, as well as technical coordination of the team responsible for adapting the physical space, aligning urban planning, public policies, and innovation.
The result was the creation of a structured environment for the development of companies from the initial stage, focusing on the training of entrepreneurs, stimulating the creation of new businesses, and strengthening the local economy. The initiative boosted job and income generation, attracted new economic activities, and consolidated a smart city strategy based on data, territorial planning, and sustainable development.
